KO Consulting, LLC officially opened its new headquarters Thursday in the Ohio One Building in downtown Youngstown. The firm, founded by CEO Kristen Olmi, began operating full time in 2020.
Olmi says KO Consulting fills a regional gap in grant writing and community and economic development services. The firm operates across three divisions—business, nonprofit and government—and offers a range of services including business planning, grant research, grant compliance and financial projections.
The company previously operated out of a smaller space totaling about 800 square feet. The new location provides more than 3,000 with room for future expansion. Olmi said the firm remains committed to Youngstown as its headquarters regardless of any future growth.
“We are a community and economic development firm, so we want to be where we can be the most helpful,” Olmi said.
